American Heart Association Certified
Heartsaver CPR AED teaches participants how to perform CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively. Based on the latest American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
What's Covered
Heartsaver CPR AED teaches the lifesaving skills of CPR and AED including:
- Signs of a Heart Attack or Stroke
- Adult CPR and AED use
- Choking help for an Adult, Child or Infant
- Drowning response and prevention
- Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
- Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR
Fee is all inclusive. All training materials and equipment provided on site.
Who Should Take This Class
The Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs an OSHA-compliant course completion card for CPR training—or anyone who simply wants to be prepared in an emergency. It's ideal for parents, babysitters, teachers, fitness instructors, coaches, and members of the general public.
If you are a professional medical care provider or first responder, such as EMS or LE, you should do BLS instead of this course. Click here for the correct course.

How long is the Heartsaver CPR certification valid?
American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR certification is valid for 2 years from the date of completion. We recommend renewing before expiration to maintain continuous certification.
What's the difference between Heartsaver CPR and BLS?
Heartsaver CPR is designed for the general public and lay rescuers, while BLS (Basic Life Support) is designed for healthcare professionals. BLS is more comprehensive and in-depth than Heartsaver.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself! All training materials and equipment are provided. Wear comfortable clothing as the course includes hands-on practice on mannequins.
