STC offers a variety of classes and courses for both civilians and professionals. We offer LA County CCW, BSIS Training, AHA Training and much more.

Security Training

Complete BSIS security training courses including guard cards, firearms permits, and specialized equipment certification.

BSIS Guard Card / Powers to Arrest

$2408 hours

The powers to arrest training course is required of all contract California security officers in order to receive their security guard registration.

BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit

$50014 hours

The exposed firearms permit allows security officers to carry a firearm on duty. Rental firearms and gear are available to students as part of the course.

$704 hours

California security officers are required to be certified in OC / pepper spray / Chemical agents in order to carry it on duty.

California requires security officers to complete 40 hours of training in order to be fully certified. This course is required after completing your powers to arrest training.
