New CCW Renewal Fingerprint Requirement
Pursuant to California Penal Code section 26185, CCW renewals submitted to the California Department of Justice on or after September 1, 2026 require new fingerprints. Follow the instructions of your issuing agency regarding when and where to complete your Live Scan.
